ok hear me out. i used to be the worst morning person. five alarms, stumbling around in the dark, leaving the house looking like i got dressed during an earthquake.
now i’m up at 6 voluntarily and honestly? mornings are my favorite part of the day. here’s what changed.
6:00 — peptides first
literally the first thing i do. BPC-157 injection, 250mcg, subcutaneous. i’ve been running it for my shoulder (climbing injury that just would not quit) and the difference has been wild. i prep the syringe the night before so there’s zero thinking involved.
glass of water with a pinch of sea salt while it settles. boring but effective.
6:15 — cold shower (just the last 2 min)
i’m not one of those people who takes full ice baths at dawn. i do my normal warm shower and then flip it cold for the last two minutes. the alertness hit is unmatched and my skin has genuinely never looked better.
6:25 — skincare
AM routine is minimal on purpose:
- gentle cleanser
- vitamin C serum
- SPF 50 (non-negotiable, even on cloudy days)
evenings are where i get fancy — that’s when the GHK-Cu serum comes out. more on that in another post.
6:35 — outfit
i lay everything out the night before. EVERYTHING. shoes, jewelry, the lot. this single habit eliminated like 90% of my morning decision fatigue.
current formula:
- neutral base (cream, taupe, charcoal)
- one interesting texture or silhouette
- minimal gold jewelry, always the same pieces
the goal is to look intentional, not like i tried hard. there’s a difference.
6:50 — coffee + brain dump
five minutes of writing whatever’s in my head. not gratitude journaling (tried it, felt forced). just… dumping thoughts. then pour-over coffee, always black.
7:15 — movement
alternating between pilates, climbing gym, and walks. nothing crazy. consistency over intensity.
after training i do my TB-500 injection if it’s a dosing day. this one’s for systemic recovery — pairs really well with the BPC.
why it works
it’s not about productivity or optimization or whatever hustle culture is selling this week. it’s about starting the day feeling like i gave a damn about myself. the peptides help my body recover. the outfit prep means i never leave looking unintentional. the routine means calm, not chaos.
that’s it. that’s the whole thing.
curious about the peptides? here’s my beginner’s guide — everything i wish someone told me before my first order.
